WHAT IS UPSTART POP-UP?
Artists and makers: scroll down to apply!
Hello! Upstart Pop-Up™ markets bring the Salt Lake City community an accessible, inclusive, community oriented makers’ market.
Our mission is to help small, emerging, and "startup" artists and craftspeople the opportunity to find their audience, share their artistry, and build their businesses. We exist to showcase these artists and connect them to the community.
Join us: shop local, support local artists, and connect with your community.
holiday 2021 MARKETS
LOCATION AND PARKING
Join us at Hearten House, a warm, welcoming, wellbeing office/event space in downtown SLC. You’ll find us right above Caputo’s on Broadway - convenient to downtown and for freeway access. Find us at 314 W 300 S, Suite 222.
PARKING is available on the street (2-hour limit), but NOT in the Caputo’s parking lot. We also recommend the Gateway parking garages, about a block NW, especially during Farmers' Market days.
COVID-19 Precautions
We’ll be strictly limiting capacity for everyone’s well-being, as well as complying with local health ordinances, so plan on wearing a mask and keeping your distance. We’ll have explanatory signage and explanatory people at the Market to help, along with one-way traffic and limits to one person/party per booth.
Masks and physical distancing are recommended for shoppers so everyone feels as comfy as possible, while also trying to minimize the risk as much as possible.
Please don't visit if you're at all COVID-symptomatic or in a high-risk group and are unvaccinated. Message us instead. We can help you connect with our amazing artists and arrange a way to ship you your purchases, and in some cases, curbside delivery will be available.

Looking for Craft Sabbath? You're in the right place. While we held three successful holiday markets under that name in 2020, we changed the name in January 2021 to better reflect our mission - supporting local artists and the community, giving "startup" artists and craftspeople a way to connect with others and grow their businesses.
